Landon Schmucker

Welcome! I’m Landon Schmucker, a recent Ph.D. graduate in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico (UNM). My research focuses on the design of ultra-low-noise, high-gain amplifiers (LNAs), particularly for small-signal sensor integration in lab-based applications.

Beyond LNAs, I have contributed to research in physical unclonable function (PUF) design, silicon photonic sensors, and metal-semiconductor-metal sensor fabrication. I am affiliated with the Center for High Technology Materials (CHTM) and UNM’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.

In addition to my research, I work as an Electrical Engineer at Leidos, contributing to directed energy research at the Air Force Research Laboratory. My interests include analog IC design, low-noise and low-power circuit design, PUF development, and microelectronic devices.
